404 on Blog pages

Using Orchard 1.3.10.

I'm using the web.config <customErrors> for my 404 pages, which works everywhere except on blogs.  If you go to a page like /{blogSlug}/wrong-url, a server 404 is served instead of the custom page.

I don't see anything in the Orchard.Blogs/web.config that overrides the root behavior.  Any Idea?

Is upgrading to 1.4 a solution for you ? It's handle out of the box in 1.4.

Unfortunately not at the moment.  I did read about Error/NotFound.cshtml and that'll be great in 1.4, but we will not be able to migrate for some time.

Is it IIS who is serving the page ?

In this case can you try to add: <httpErrors existingResponse="PassThrough" /> to your web.config ?
