Comments Module and anonymous users

Hi all,

im wondering how to switch off content comments for not registered users,

in summary:

in my site only registered/logged users are able to comment articles, blogs and other contenst,

i can't find any option i dashboard similiar to described functionality,

is it possible?

Ah, what you're looking for is the permissions. In the Orchard dashboard, click on the Users link. Then click on the Roles tab at the top of the page. Edit the Anonymous role and look for the "Add Comment" permission. You'll see that it's set to Allow by default. Just uncheck that box and save and your anonymous visitors will no longer be able to leave comments.

@brt, I think Sebastien is referring to the fact that I created an online training course for Orchard at Pluralsight here: http://www.pluralsight-training.net/microsoft/Courses/TableOfContents?courseName=orchard-fundamentals. Roles and permissions are one of the topics I covered in that course. Might be worth checking out if you're new to Orchard.

BTW, I'm almost ready to begin creating my advanced Orchard couse (finally).
