This is nice, but where can I see the actual exception. (Meaning, the error within the Admin panel.)

Better yet, how do I turn it off completely?

It seems you are using 1.x. Then update to the latest changeset, the exception is shown when in the admin. It's shape that can be customized in Themes now.

Does this message get shown only when an exception is thrown? Or also when I return a 'null' from an action?

Edit: Can throwning an HttpException cause this too (from inside an action)?

Wouldn't returning null cause an exception?

Honestly I didn't know if it did.

In the past returning a null just returned an empty output, so I returned null when no output was required.

But this is just a tiny change for me, I'll return an empty string from now on :)
