Hi guys.  So far, I've used SQL Compact and seen plenty of reports of people using 2008 without issues.  What I havn't seen and a search didn't bring it up is people using SQL Express.

We have a client that wants two front end app servers which eliminates SQL Compact but I suspect that SQL Express would work in this configuration, right?  Any things I should worry about?  They are trying to go on the cheap.

Yes, but the question would be why two front-ends ? If it is to handle heavy load, then SQL Express might be a limitation, as is it limited to 5 concurrent connections. And in this case I would frankly recommend using the Cache module as a first class solution.
