First off, thanks so much for a great CMS. I'm really enjoying implementing my first Orchard-based site.

I'm wondering if there is a way to provide some contextual parenthetical formatting hints for fields within the admin site. For example, I have a field (textfield) called "Born-Died" for an Artist Content Type. I would like to be able to provide a admin user some formatting text beside the field like the following

Born-Died <textfield here> (e.g., 1927-1995)

So it's the "(e.g., 1927-1995)" that I would like to provide.

Thanks for any help.

You'll need to implement a custom field type: http://www.orchardproject.net/docs/Creating-a-custom-field-type.ashx

Oops, guess it's pretty obviously in the docs. Thanks for the link, seems pretty straightforward.
