Menus and sub-menus in Orchard via webmatrix

I am a new user, not a developer, but hope someone can answer a couple questions. 1. If i download Orchard through webmatrix, as I've done, is it possible i'm not getting complete install?

2. I'm confused on menus. I can't find documentation to explain how to create submenus, what the terms mean (child, parent, sibling).

3. If I give a menu item a 2.1 prefix, will it automatically create it as sub for menu item 2?

I also downloaded Advanced Menu module and all properties are enabled but while it shows up in my module list, I can't seem to create one. Could someone point me to tutorial or send instructions?

1. There is actually no such thing as a complete install, unless you include all the modules available on the gallery, which would probably not be functional. With the WM install, you won't get the full source code, and you wil only get those few modules that are included in that distribution. You will need to add stuff from the gallery.

2. Submenus will come from an external module. This one for example:

3. Depends on your menu module. The built-in one won't.

For a tutorial on advanced menu, you'd have to ask the author of the module.
