Field and Part alternates in the admin

We have created a custom admin theme as per the instructions found in this discussion and would like to add instructional pop-ups and client side validation for a number of the fields in the content types we created (through the admin interface, not coded) and also to rearrange the order in which the fields are displayed when creating a new content item. The trouble we are having is finding the right alternates names to use in our custom theme's views folder. For instance, under Views>Editor Templates, including a file named Fields.Common.Text.Edit.cshtml succeeds in replacing all the fields of that field type, but is too generic. For a content field named ArticleLongSummary, trying Fields.Common.Text.Edit-ArticleLongSummary.cshtml is unsuccessful. Though that content field belongs to another content part name Article, which in turn belongs to a content type name Article (sure, not very good naming there...).

What is the correct alternate-name-structure to accomplish this?

from this post on May 2nd i learned that the shape infrastructure is not 100% implelemented in the admin interface, but is being planned for the 2.0 release. so maybe this is the problem we are having.
