Create a Deployment Package

I'm trying to implement a full featured Deployment package as supported/Recommended by VS10. Working from the source download I've tried a range of different option sets in both Debug and Release mode.

All the builds work fine - publish tosses an error without any details.

any thoughts?

obj\Release\CSAutoParameterize\transformed\Web.config.
Auto ConnectionString Transformed Media\web.config into obj\Release\CSAutoParameterize\transformed\Media\web.config.
========== Build: 5 succeeded or up-to-date, 0 failed, 0 skipped ==========
========== Publish: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 skipped ==========

Hi justSteve,

I'm just getting started with Orchard but I've found this post (http://orchard.codeplex.com/discussions/251070) talking about deployment and publishing and it suggests that you cannot use the VS Package/Publish mechanisms.

Instead use the ClickToBuild.cmd to build a deployable version from source. You can find it included in the source code zip from here: http://orchard.codeplex.com/SourceControl/list/changesets?branch=default#.

Hope this helps.

That thread is misleading. VS deployment should work with 1.2.
