In the demo that Sebastion gave at Teched he demonstrated a dropdown menu from a list of taxonomies. Can you give me a hint on how you can do that?

Thanks in Advance.

You have to add the Taxonomy Menu part to the Taxonomy content type.

I had allready figured that out but in IE9 you get just the option to the right of the main option. In firefox 5 it is not vissible and it tries to be underneed it but i gives problems since the content is over it. Do you have to completly rebuild the way the menu is rendering by replacing the <ul> in the menu by dropdowns?

It might be that there is a css error there. UL tags are not the issue.

This is the HTML rendered by a Taxonomy with option show in the menu. Just used the thememachine with standard CSS.

<nav>
    <ul class="menu menu-main">

<li class="current">    <a href="/">HOME</a>
</li>
<li>    <a href="/produkten">PRODUKTEN</a>
</li>
<li>    <a href="/artikelgroepen">ONZE PRODUKTEN</a>
        <ul>

<li>    <a href="/artikelgroepen/boeketten">BOEKETTEN</a>
</li>
        </ul>
</li>
    </ul>
</nav>

The html is ok, it's just that the theme that you are using is not ready for multilevel menu items. For the purpose of the demonstration, my theme was handling that nicely. Plugins like jQuery Superfish might help you in that.

How do you create a theme that is ready for multilevel menu items?

Isn't the rendering of the menu defined in Orchard.Core Navigation. Where exactly do you use a plugin like Superfish?

Thanks!
