How do I enable Orchard email channel?

I am trying to resolve the "Some Orchard.User settings require an Email channel to be enabled." error message since I would like to use Orchard features that send email.

How do I enable an email channel to make Orchard happy? I can't find any doc on this and don't see it in the config.

You have to enable the Email module.

Thank you randompete. That was helpful; I see now the problem. I had installed the Email Messaging and Messaging Modules, but the first depends on the second and I needed to explicitly hit "Enable" after installing the second.
