MediaPicker - Uploading media file failed

Hi,

I have just updated to Orchard 1.1.30 - first issue is in the new MediaPicker in a clean install of 1.1.30

I get this error back from /Admin/Media/AddFromClient:

<script type="text/javascript">var result = { error: "ERROR: Uploading media file failed: Argument must be a non empty stringParameter name: folderPath" };</script>

Looking at the referring Url:  http://nexstep.testing.internal.ssw.com.au/Admin/MediaPicker?uploadpath=&callback=_pickimage_1302746345099&editmode=false&1302746345099

The parameter uploadpath is empty.

I'm looking into why it works from an install of the source 1.1.30, but not for the "web" distribution 1.1.30

Any ideas?

Reproducing steps for test site based on Orchard.Web.1.1.30.zip

1) Load content page (home page)

2) Check if Tooltip on MediaPicker icon shows (the Title used for the editor icon tooltip is loaded in the same way as the folderpath so this is an early indicator of the problem)

3) Open the MediaPicker and check the get string in the url for the upload path parameter

4) Clear the cache and repeat

Test on IE 8.0.7600.16385 - Failed

Tested on FireFox 3.6.16 - Failed

Test on Chrome 10.0.648.204 - Failed

Solution:

Replace the compressed editor_plugin.js with the uncompressed version

1) Rename the old editor_plugin.js

From:

<Orchard_Root>\Modules\TinyMce\Scripts\plugins\mediapicker\editor_plugin.js

To:

<Orchard_Root>\Modules\TinyMce\Scripts\plugins\mediapicker\editor_plugin.js.bak

2) Copy

From:

<Orchard_Root>\Modules\TinyMce\Scripts\plugins\mediapicker\editor_plugin_src.js

To:

<Orchard_Root>\Modules\TinyMce\Scripts\plugins\mediapicker\editor_plugin.js

3) Clear your browser cache

- it now works.

Not sure what the compression broke, but this workaround gets it going until the compressed version is fixed in the distribution
