Modifying Contoso Theme Question

Instead of having a slider in the HomeFeaturedImage zone I would like having an image (the same size of the feature-bkg.png image 962x376 pixels). I already 'played' with site.css but didn't succeed. Where should I look to get the correct result?

No One???

I added already an HtmlWidget in the HomeFeaturedImage zone of TheHomePage and added to this an image, but this doesn't align at all with the boundaries of the zone.

Probably I should adapt css but haven't a clue what I need to modify.

If you set the positioning to relative you should be able to move it around using top and left.

Adding this html code in the HtmlWidget still doesn't position the image.

<p><img style="position: relative; top: 0px; left: 0px; height: 376px; width: 962px;" src="Themes/Contoso/Content/Images/Gallery/feature01.jpg" alt="Orchard Rocks" /></p>

Well, you are basically telling it not to move at all from the position it would otherwise take. Set top and left to non-zero value if you want it to move...

In the meantime I already tried with top en left non-zero values. When for instance using one the images of Contoso (feature01.jpg 471x319px) with the html hereunder, its correctly positioned. But when using an image with a (larger) size 962x376 (=the size of feature-bkg.png) the positioning isn't correct. What I want to achieve is that I have one picture on top of the standard feature-bkg.png image.

<p><img style="position: relative; top: -12px; left: -52px;" src="Themes/Contoso/Content/Images/Gallery/feature01.jpg" alt="Test" /></p>
