Hi there, i am new to Orchard and the MVC concept and i am working on a module that does user integration from social networks into Orchard as part of a sch project.

Basically i want to pull out information from Gigya and then using this information i want to create a new user and store it into the database.

As i am new to everything including the concept, can someone out there kindly please help me with an example. I am running out of time and i would really to grateful for all your help.

From the title of your message I'm assuming that you are acquiring that external data from the client-side and then want to save it on the server? To send data from the client-side, you can use jQuery's Ajax capabilities. On the server-side, to receive that data, you'd write a controller with an action that has the [HttpPost] attribute and a list of parameters that matches the parameters you sent in from the client Ajax request. From that action, you can save data into a repository.

Does that correspond to your scenario?
