Hi, I was wondering if there is an approximate time line for releasing Orchard v1.1?

It's supposed to be three weeks from the time they start an iteration, but I don't believe they have started an iteration yet.

We are planning a 1.1 release around Mix11. This gives us two 4-week iterations, and 2 weeks stabilization. We are in the middle of the 1st iteration.
Here are the features we are planning to work on:
Iteration 1:
- Workflow to discover, install/enable, and configure modules and themes
- Admin design and usability
- Customizing themes
- Browse and insert media items
- Setup and configuration (i.e. distributions)
Iteration 2:
- Managing widgets UI
- Content items and lists workflow
- Deployment and hosting
- Moving and upgrading data (i.e. import/export)
- Developer support
Note that we also will look at shared hosting startup performance. To be clear on that topic: we did some non trivial work on 1.0 (we improved startup time by 30-40% from 0.8), but we also hear the feedback this is not good enough. First priority for us
is to understand/measure where the bottlenecks are (memory, disk i/o, cpu).

Will there be an upgrade path from 1.0 to 1.1?

1.1 will be back-compat with 1.0. The upgrade path will be to replace the app but keep the data, installed modules and themes, media, etc.

Hi guys, how did your iteration go, are you done? One more iteration now until Orchard 1.1 right? I need to build a site in the next two weeks would it be ok to build it with this in-between version or should I use 1.0 and wait for 1.1?

1.1 will be for Mix.

Odd enough i don't see anything of Orchard on MIX 11 ??
Would expected it under http://live.visitmix.com/OpenSourceFest
I see DotNetNuke, Umbraco, etc.. but no Orchard.
Not in the Keynotes, not in the sessions, nor in the morning & evenening bootcamps.
PS: http://www.orchardproject.net/docs/feature-roadmap.ashx is out of date :) Current work writen for 25/2, when is the release? 11/04 ?
