I've been following the tutorial for writng a content part. Thanks for updating to 0.8, this has made it much easier.

I found this bit a bit misleading (or I'm confused):

"Both of these templates will be rendered as parts of a larger, composite page. If we want to control the order and location where they will render, we need to add a file into the root of the module's directory:"

I didn't think I cared about the render order so I didn't add a file. Not having one stopped my widget from displaying the correct view. Not sure if this is what it should have done, but adding one fixed my problem.

So, my question is, do you need a file? My experience with building a widget suggests that you do. If you do need to add a file can you make this more explicit in the instructions.

You need a file, and even more, you need the shapes' KEY (the string passed as first argument), to be inside if you want to see it. Otherwise they are not displayed. SO yes it is mandatory.

I updated the wiki to make that clearer.

Thanks for clearing that up. The updated instructions make it much clearer.
